Agreed; her biggest failing is that she did not demonstrate very strong command of the kind of constitutional law principles that face the Court every day. She wouldn't have been the first unimpressive lawyer to be elevated to the Supreme Court, but these days, with so many truly outstanding candidates out there, we generally expect that the members of the Supreme Court will be some of the brightest legal minds we have. My money would be on Michael McConnell, but this White House has yet to make a predictable pick.
My pick would be: Former Congressman, Glendale Judge, Lawyer, Lead Prosecutor in the Impeachment Trial, My Friend; Jim Rogan.A very sharp mind with strong conservative morals and would not "legislate from the bench".
